Open for Commissions

I’m an illustrator working primarily in watercolour, with a deep interest in storytelling, mythology, and the emotional power of images.

I’m currently open to new commissions — especially book illustration, editorial projects, and anything that involves a close dialogue between text and visuals.

My process is research-driven but intuitive, and I love working on pieces that require both structure and imagination.

Illustrating An Atlas of Mythical Journeys

One of my recent commissions was for An Atlas of Mythical Journeys by Emily Hawkins — a richly illustrated book of heroic quests and legendary adventures from around the world.

The entire visual language was developed in watercolour, with each illustration created over several weeks through a multi-stage process: from initial sketches to refined pencil drawings and final paintings.

The stories span cultures and continents — from Odysseus and Mulan to lesser-known myths from African, Polynesian, and Caribbean traditions — many of which required in-depth visual research and cultural sensitivity.

Every illustration was designed to work in harmony with the text layout, always with the goal of creating a cohesive and immersive narrative experience.
