Info: Overall, this painting is a satirical and creative duel born during the height of the COVID pandemic when most of us were confined to the digital realm. It emerged from a spirited debate on artistic skill between myself and another highly renowned Ukrainian artist. I contended that I could replicate, on a flat surface, the full illusion of the voluminous, paste-like layers of colourful textures she creates with a palette knife.
